General About Me
Originally from UK but now living in The Netherlands. I have three children and two grandchildren, with one more on the way (31 March). I have also lived in Indonesia and Africa. Originally a teacher, I have also been an aromatherapist and, most recently, a translator - Dutch into English in mainly literary non-fiction, academic texts and children's literature. I did a creative writing course with the Open College of the Arts, at the Open University and an Arvon course. All good and a way of bringing structure into my writing. Now I hope to find this by joining up with all of you! I have had one story published - 'Tabetha' in Foreign Flavours. I am a member of a writing group in Amsterdam which is great. Nothing like feedback and encouragement!
