General About Me
Dianne is a Canadian writer living in Britain. Since moving to Britain in 1990 she has lived in Scotland and Northern Ireland. She and her husband share their small farm in Northern Ireland with an assortment of strong willed animals. Dianne is also published as Dianne Trimble. She writes both fiction and non-fiction. History, arts/music and human interest stories figure prominently in her non-fiction work. Her articles and short stories have been printed in Canadian and Irish regional newspapers including the Toronto Star, Mississauga News, Derry Journal, Ballyclare Gazette and Down Recorder as well as the Irish magazines, Ireland's Own and Senior Times. She is a regular contributor to The Fermanagh Miscellany, the Fermanagh Authors' Association's yearly anthology and she also supplied material for the local history publication, The Brookeborough Story: Aghalun in Aghavea. She won a publishing package with Trafford Publishing so she self-published her first novel, an historical fiction, Hitler and Mars Bars with this POD publisher. Dianne is a member of the Historical Novel Society, Fermanagh Authors' Association and the Fermanagh Creative Writing Group.
